The Glass Factory is an active and creative glass museum where Swedish glass history meets contemporary art and design. Several artists and designers have their studios at The Glass Factory, as it offers great opportunities to explore different techniques and contribute to the ongoing development of glass craftsmanship.

Here, boundaries are pushed while serving as a vibrant meeting place for creativity. The museum showcases an extensive collection of glass objects from well-known glassworks and designers, alongside temporary exhibitions that continuously renew the visitor experience. It is a destination that appeals to both curious visitors and passionate glass enthusiasts.

In the active hot shop, visitors can watch glassblowers at work and see how glowing molten glass is shaped into both art pieces and functional glassware. The live production creates a unique atmosphere and offers a deeper understanding of the craft’s techniques, traditions, and creativity.

The experience is equally appreciated by adults and children, thanks to educational elements and creative spaces that encourage hands-on engagement. An entrance ticket to The Glass Factory offers a cultural experience that combines history, art, and interactive learning in an inspiring environment.
