The farm dates back to the 18th century and previously people lived on a small-scale farm with cows, pigs, horses, sheep and chickens, which provided the opportunity for self-sufficiency.

Today, Rovor and Rum are focused on tourism and sheep farming, and you can stay in the carefully renovated apartments Rännet and Ladugården. The apartment Rännet is named after the grain warehouse that used to be there, and there was also a mill where flour was ground as feed for the animals. The barn is named after the animal stable that used to be there.

Both Rännet and Ladugården are now modern apartments with all the amenities you need for a nice stay. Here you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday, while being close to everything that Tjörn has to offer.
